Profile

The O’ Toole Partnership is an architectural practice based in Dublin. We undertake projects worldwide through an international global network of affiliated colleagues and collaborations. Established in 1982 as a practice of Architects and Project Managers we have traded since February 2010 as The O’Toole Partnership Architects. The Partners, Patrick O’Toole, John Dennehy, Chris Ryan, Ciarán Lynam and Donal Saunders share many years of design and practical experience in all aspects of the built environment.

We pride ourselves on providing a high level of professional expertise with a strong emphasis on design, technical and managerial skills. The company has maintained a reputation for high quality of design developed within cost efficient parameters. Strong emphasis is placed on the briefing / concept design stages of each project, where through regular dialogue, client’s needs and expectations are established. Within the practice we seek not only to meet our clients expectations but to exceed them.

Collaborations

The O’Toole Partnership believes the most successful outcomes are achieved through close collaboration between the various design disciplines and project team members. Over the past ten years The O’Toole Partnership has facilitated national and international collaborations among various disciplines and on a wide variety of commissions. We have collaborated with international architects Terry Farrell, Sir Nicholas Grimshaw, Gensler, HKS and Michel Mossessian, to name a few. Regular collaboration establishes a symbiotic working relationship and delivers coherent and timely responses for the client through the various project stages. We have renewed collaborations on many new projects based on the success of previous ones.

As Architects and Design Team Coordinators, The O’Toole Partnership seeks a marriage between functional requirements and sound environmental criteria. We acknowledge that, in addition to creating more healthy environments for communities and individuals, good sustainable design has become a prerequisite for the commercial success of our buildings.

.

• Mitigate the climate change impacts
• Promote sustainable use of resources
• Support and promote integrated transport policy
• Conserve and enhance site ecology
• Support economic contribution to local area
• Make places that support the needs of mind and body
• Conceive /design buildings that respond to all of above

The practice has successfully collaborated with a number of international practices namely, Nicholas Grimshaw, MBLA, Terry Farrell, ThinkPlace and Gensler UK, in the completion of master planning commissions.
